Welcome to HG StudiosWe've RETIRED. After 18 years of providing Video, Photography, and Graphics Design services to so many wonderful people, organizations, and business's, HG Studios is closing effective December 31st, 2008. Although we intend to enjoy our retirement starting in 2009, this Web Site will stay up in order to display our personal digital photography and continue providing our FREE Windows Wallpaper and Backgrounds. Over the years we have had hundreds of thousands of visitors and requests from all over the world. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hope you continue to visit us. To all of our past clients we would like to express our most sincere and gracious THANKS. When one endeavors to pursuit a career such as photography and video production it is inevitable that one gains an insight into the lives of the people and families, while capturing future memories or creating memories of the past. Along the way, as we conversed with you and edited and produced your projects, you made us laugh, you made us sad, and many times you brought a tear to our eye. However, most of all, you made us see and understand the emotions and memories that make family and friends such an important part of our lives. As for the organizations and businesses that have employed our services over the years, we have gained knowledge of the attributes of your employees and volunteers, along with your product lines, processes, and goals. Together, all of you have given us a truly rewarding experience. Once again, thank you so much for the memories. Last but not least, HG Studios thanks the photographers that over the years contributed to our Windows wallpaper-background pages. Among them and in particular, two very special people to us. First, the late Ann McCreven (Annie Mac photography) whose contributions included "Ireland" for HG Studios "Around the World", "A Tribute to the USS Cole", "Nantucket" for HG Studios "Photos of New England", and "Sun Flowers and Sun Rises" an Annie Mac specialty - We love you and miss you. The other very special "thank you" is to SFC Jeffrey Hackett (Photography by JP) whose many contributions included "A Portrait of Afghanistan", "Home Again", "Wild Things I, II and soon to be published III", "Christmas Across America" (Indiana), "Winter Wonderland", "The Indianapolis Airshow", and Military Photography from Afghanistan, Panama, Kosovo, Haiti, and Korea. Your photography has covered a span of emotions from the simple things in life, such as the Innocence of childhood, Sunrises, Sunsets, and nature, to the grim business of war. Your "Portrait of Afghanistan" brought home to many families a picture of familiar faces and the day-to-day lives and surroundings of their loved ones. Keep up the great work!
